It was a very busy weekend with getting the prayer cards for the 2010 Hill Cumorah Expedition Team Spring Trip done. I just missed getting the cards into Office Max on Thursday night by getting there at 9 pm when they closed. I did get the cards in by Friday night, but then I could not pick them up until about 5 pm on Saturday.
With Peggy's and Dan's help, we were able to get them sorted and distributed for Celebration Ministries, Buckner, Osage Hills, Village Hts., Neil's "Enochian" Congregation, Atherton, Colonial Hills, Beacon Hts., Mission Woods, mailed to New Philadelphia, OH and Hearne, TX, and lastly to the Highlands.
On Monday and Tuesday, I added 2 more congregations--Bates City and Warrensburg. I also mailed out probably 70-90 more cards to friends, CCM prayer warriors and leaders, and others.
The support for the team of Neil S., Don B., Gary W., and David B. has been encouraging after I made the mistake of going from about 160 cards to 410 cards with about 210 laminated. The team will only be going down for a week from this Saturday, March 20 to next Saturday, March 27. They will be doing some work at Teotihuacan in cooperation with Mexican authorities. This work will include setting up a video camera with tripod to record how Sun looks in relation to Pyramid of the Sun on the Spring Equinox. They will also follow-up with new contacts at Ayautla (just beyond Jalapa) and climbing a 4000+ foot cliff to check out caves and "Mixtec Outlook" near Cerro Rabon. This is a follow-up to leads from the 2009 HCET Spring trip of which I was a part.
All the support is a great encouragement, and the prayers are appreciated more than words can say.
